Our work for large properties and estates dates back to 1919 when our founder, George Van Yahres, was hired to provide tree care and consulting for the grounds restoration effort at Monticello. Since that time we've continued to build a group of clients that understands the valuable contribution healthy trees and plants make to their landscape. - Mike Van Yahres, owner and president, is an ISA-certified arborist, holds a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia and speaks across the country on the subjects of campus design and tree management. Mike focuses his expertise on tree assessments for our clients that inventory, evaluate and make comprehensive management recommendations for the plant resources at their properties. - Dave Rosene, General Manager, is our chief consulting and sales manager. He has worked in the green industry for more than 25 years, including experience as a property manager and horticultural specialist. Dave's recommendations are backed by his hands-on grounds management experience and extensive knowledge of plant materials.
